# How to add a free backup subscription to Clash Verge

If your self-hosted server goes down, it helps to keep one backup subscription ready. Here is how to add one.  
  
1\. Create an account on [Roxi](https://roxi.cc) with your email and copy your subscription URL from the dashboard. The free plan gives 30 minutes of full speed every day.  
2\. In Clash Verge, open Profiles, paste the URL and import it.  
3\. Open Proxies, pick a node and run a latency test to make sure it responds.  
4\. To go back to your usual profile, just switch it on the Profiles page.  
  
The same subscription URL also works in v2rayN and Hiddify.
